This is NOT the admit card for NEET (UG) – 2020.This is an advance information on allotment of Centre City, to facilitate the candidate. The Admit Card shall be issued shortly.

The exam is initially scheduled to be conducted on May 3 but was postponed for July due to the COVID-19 situation and lockdown and was postponed further for September. NEET UG exam is conducted for admissions to MBBS courses throughout the country.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) 2020 (NEET (UG) - 2020) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes in India.


Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 provides for holding of a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Thus, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like Institutions will be made through NEET. The eligibility criteria applicable to appear in NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to the candidates desirous to take admission to INIs like AIIMS.


Similarly, the criteria for minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for admission to MBBS course shall also be applicable to INIs. Further, the common counseling for admission to MBBS course in these INIs shall be conducted by the DGHS as per the Time Schedule specified in the MCI’s regulations.


The NEET (UG) - 2020 will be conducted on Sunday, the 13th September, 2020. The responsibility of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and for providing an “All India Rank Merit List” to the Directorate General Health Service, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for providing the result to States/other Counselling Authorities.

NEET admit card 2020 release date has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The original date for the release of the NEET 2020 admit card was March 27 but has been postponed due to the spread of novel coronavirus in India. NTA is expected to release the NEET admit card 2020 on August 29.

NEET admit card 2020 - National Testing Agency (NTA) will release NEET 2020 admit card shortly at ntaneet.nic.in. As per the recent NTA notice provided below

National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 admit card shortly. However, for the convenience of the candidates, the Agency has released the Centre and City details for all the candidates on the official website, ntaneet.nic.in.


NTA in its notification said that the admit card is being released sooner than expected. The candidates can now get advanced information regarding their exam city and centre before the release of the admit card. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 13 and admit cards generally are issued 15 days before the exam.


NTA said in its notification, “The downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number, Test Centre Number & Address, Question Paper Medium, Reporting/ Entry Time and Gate Closing Time of Centre shall commence shortly.”.
